"Worcester Street" came out on top, so today the BID team were out there giving it some much-needed care and attention. 💙 So far on Worcester Street, we’ve de-weeded the pavements, cleared moss, sharpened up the brickwork, and given the whole street a proper tidy-up. It’s been great working alongside local businesses and having so many people stop for a chat and share their thanks, your support really keeps the momentum going. This afternoon, our Kidderminster BID team joined Wyre Forest Police for joint patrols around the town centre 💙 We checked in with local businesses, had some fantastic chats with owners and residents, and carried out hotspot policing at 11 key locations with additional officers. Any issues were addressed quickly and collaboratively, including 1 arrest for public order, 1 referral for a vulnerable adult, and PSPO patrols, helping to keep Kidderminster safe and welcoming. Chris & Ricky have been hard at work around town this week, you might have spotted them in their bright blue tops, out cleaning our streets and getting stuck into gardening work 💙 They’ve been busy over at Bromsgrove Street Car Park, de-weeding, tidying the brickwork, and clearing around the bollards to give the whole area a fresher look. They also cut back the bushes on New Road and Market Street, making the footpaths wider, safer, and more welcoming for everyone. 🌿 It’s been wonderful to see the support this week, from waves and chats to tea and coffee from Co-op Funeral Directors.
