Jollyes Kidderminster - The Pet People has officially opened at Crossley Park, and honestly, it looks fantastic both inside and out. After chatting with the team today, you can really see the enthusiasm and energy they have for what they do, and the range of products and services on offer is impressive. 🐕 It was great to see the Mayor Shazu Miah cutting the ribbon alongside some incredible ex-police dogs and Forest Dog Rescue, with plenty of local people coming along to show their support too. The atmosphere was brilliant throughout the day. It’s been quite the week with the weather, but our team have still been out supporting local businesses and helping the town centre look and feel cleaner, safer and more welcoming.🌱 This week the team have been working across Green Street and surrounding areas, clearing overgrown greenery, tidying up streets and giving areas some much-needed TLC, alongside collecting over 13 bags of litter across the town centre. Our local favourite, The Post house on Blackwell Street, has had a full makeover, and it’s looking brilliant 🤩 The Post House are reopening their kitchen with a brand-new menu, with everything from burgers and pub classics to breakfasts, sharing plates and a few proper comfort food options too. Prices are really good as well, and to celebrate the launch they’re currently offering 25% off food (excluding drinks and meal deals/offers). The full new menu launches this Monday 11th May. Swesh Studio has officially opened on Oxford Street, and it looks amazing both inside and out 🤩 Their team have completely transformed the old 45 Live into a really high-quality, welcoming space focused on community fitness, with a great range of classes on offer. Swesh Studio was formerly on New Road. Our amazing local café Eazy Lounge has only gone and won Best Café in Worcestershire, a huge achievement. 🙌 A real proud moment for them and for Kidderminster. The sun’s mostly stayed out this week, and our outreach team have been busy continuing their efforts to help make the town cleaner, safer and more welcoming. 🌟 As part of our ongoing support for local businesses, we spent some time with our amazing, heritage-packed Museum of Carpet following their recent reopening. We couldn’t not pop down! The team got stuck into de-weeding, clearing moss, cleaning brickwork and giving the outside a much-needed bit of TLC, and what a difference it’s made. 🌱 Alongside this, the team have collected over 9 bags of litter across the town centre while continuing to support businesses throughout the week. 🙌🏻 Fingers crossed the weather stays with us.
