Have you spotted the flowers around town yet? 🌸 They're pretty hard to miss and, honestly, they're looking stunning right now. With the warm weather we've been having, the baskets and flower beds are really starting to bloom and bring plenty of colour to the town centre. It's great to see a bit of nature around the town, and the flowers really help bring some life and colour to the streets. It’s been another warm week, and our team have been busy helping to keep the town cleaner, safer and more welcoming for everyone. It’s been a warmer one this week, and our team have been busy continuing their efforts to help make the town cleaner, safer and more welcoming for everyone. ☀️ This week we’ve been working along Bromsgrove Street and Blackwell Street, as well as across the wider town centre, removing overgrown weeds, tidying up pathways and helping to widen walkways to make them easier to use. We hope you’re all starting to notice the difference.🌱 It’s definitely been a challenge in this heat, it seemed to arrive out of nowhere! But we’re not complaining about a bit of sunshine. Jollyes Kidderminster - The Pet People has officially opened at Crossley Park, and honestly, it looks fantastic both inside and out. After chatting with the team today, you can really see the enthusiasm and energy they have for what they do, and the range of products and services on offer is impressive. 🐕 It was great to see the Mayor Shazu Miah cutting the ribbon alongside some incredible ex-police dogs and Forest Dog Rescue, with plenty of local people coming along to show their support too. The atmosphere was brilliant throughout the day. It’s been quite the week with the weather, but our team have still been out supporting local businesses and helping the town centre look and feel cleaner, safer and more welcoming.🌱 This week the team have been working across Green Street and surrounding areas, clearing overgrown greenery, tidying up streets and giving areas some much-needed TLC, alongside collecting over 13 bags of litter across the town centre. Our local favourite, The Post house on Blackwell Street, has had a full makeover, and it’s looking brilliant 🤩 The Post House are reopening their kitchen with a brand-new menu, with everything from burgers and pub classics to breakfasts, sharing plates and a few proper comfort food options too. Prices are really good as well, and to celebrate the launch they’re currently offering 25% off food (excluding drinks and meal deals/offers). The full new menu launches this Monday 11th May. Great team behind it and always good to see a local business adding more to their offering for locals. Swesh Studio has officially opened on Oxford Street, and it looks amazing both inside and out 🤩 Their team have completely transformed the old 45 Live into a really high-quality, welcoming space focused on community fitness, with a great range of classes on offer. Swesh Studio was formerly on New Road. It’s brilliant to see a local independent grow and invest back into the town centre like this, especially with such a strong community focus behind it 💙 They’ll also be holding their full launch party on Sunday 24th May, so keep an eye out for that. Talbot Park on Worcester Street is now officially open to the public, and honestly, it looks great. 🌿 After months of waiting, it’s good to finally see people using the space, and it brings some much-needed greenery into the town centre.
