That’s a wrap on the Kidderminster Canal & Food Festival 2026 💙 We’re genuinely blown away by the support this event has had over the weekend. The turnout from people across Kidderminster and from further afield went beyond what we expected, and it’s been brilliant seeing Weavers Wharf so busy across both days. A massive thank you to everyone who came along, as well as all the traders, performers, teams and everyone behind the scenes who helped make the weekend happen. And of course, it’s been great to partner up with FAB Food Fest once again and bring another event like this to the town. 👏 This was our first big event of the year, and we’ve got more planned. For now though, we just hope everyone who came along had a brilliant weekend and enjoyed it as much as we did. Day 2 of the Kidderminster Canal & Food Festival has started 💙 After such an amazing day yesterday, we're ready to do it all again and today is set to be another good one. We've got some brilliant live bands and entertainment throughout the day, including our Michael Jackson Tribute taking to the stage at around 3pm. We're making the most of the summer holidays by bringing our FREE Pop Up Games to Kidderminster town centre ☀️ We know keeping the kids entertained over the holidays can soon add up, so we're really pleased to be putting on another free activity for families to enjoy 💙 On 12 & 13 August, we'll have a range of giant games and activities for children to get involved with, whether that's a quick game of Jenga, Kerplunk, Chess, Skittles or just spending a couple of hours having fun in the town centre. Here it is... after weeks of hard work in the heat, we've completely transformed the overgrown flower bed at the top of Church Street 😍 We're really proud of how it's turned out, and the difference is there for everyone to see. A huge thank you to everyone who's stopped for a chat, shared kind words or shown their support over the past few weeks. It genuinely means a lot to us and keeps us motivated to carry on improving our town centre. This transformation wouldn't have been possible without the support and collaboration of Wyre Forest District Council and Kidderminster Town Council, and we'd like to thank them for helping bring this project to life. A huge congratulations to everyone at Fitter Body Ladies Kidderminster who recently took on the Mud Run for Cancer Research UK. 👏 Together they've raised an incredible £6,000, including Gift Aid, for such an important cause. That's an amazing achievement and a real credit to everyone who got involved.
