Another week, another update on our ongoing clean-up efforts. 💙 This week our BID team have been busy across town, clocking up over 50,000 steps and collecting 10 bags of litter while giving key areas a well-deserved refresh. From widening pathways to cleaning road signs and business fronts, they’ve been working hard to keep our town looking its best. 🌿 Over at Weavers Wharf, the team wire-brushed and cleaned the brickwork, clearing moss and cobwebs for a sharper, fresher look. They also focused on the Medical Centre path, removing ivy and leaf build-up that had been blocking the way, even revealing some original brickwork underneath. You’ve all been asking, and we’re thrilled to announce that the Christmas Fireworks Display is back! 🎆 Join us on Saturday, 15th November, alongside the Christmas Light Switch-On, for a spectacular fireworks show at 8pm. After the huge success last year, we couldn’t resist bringing it back. The fireworks will be set off from Market Street Car Park (behind Nu Bar), with the best views from there or Weavers Wharf near The Piano Building. Nu Bar will have hot festive drinks available.
