FREE Floor Stickers, Posters & Clean-Up Day

The BID team have put together a Business Support Package for BID businesses so we can help you to re-open safely.

We can offer you

– A maximum of 2 social distancing floor stickers
– A reminder to wear a mask poster
– A poster stating the maximum number of people who can safely be in the premises at any one time

We also have a business ‘Covid secure checklist’ – the BID Rangers are available to visit and assist and can forward your details to the local Covid Advisors if necessary.

If you would like to receive all, or a combination of the above items, please email the BID Rangers at Rangers@kidderminsterBID.co.uk with the following information:

Name, business and business address, how many floors stickers you would like (1 or 2) if you would like the posters and you can ask for the Rangers to visit your premises in business hours. If you have any questions, please phone your local BID Manager Alex Powell by calling her on 07842 894198, or by emailing Alex@kidderminsterbid.co.uk.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL ORDERS FOR FREE FLOOR STICKERS AND POSTERS MUST BE EMAILED TO US BY 10:00AM ON THURSDAY 1ST APRIL IN ORDER FOR US TO HAVE EVERYTHING READY FOR REOPENING ON 12TH APRIL.

Focus on Bromsgrove Street Car Park and Step Entry

Local businesses have told us that they’re experiencing anti-social behaviour in the location. We’re working hard to bring attention to Bromsgrove St car park in partnership with the district council and the police. The BID team have asked the council to carry out graffiti removal and litter-picking in this area – this took place on Friday 26th March and the BID team worked alongside the local authority. We want to help ensure the town is as clean and tidy as possible for when our valued businesses and visitors return.

We’ve requested a new litter bin from the council and it’s been installed at the top of Step Entry. Keep an eye on our social channels for updates surrounding this activity.

Easter Holiday Egg Hunt

As always, we like to do something fun during the holidays – including Easter! Our town centre Egg Hunt will be running from Saturday 3rd April – Saturday 17th April. We plan to increase footfall in the town centre safely and make the town a better place to do business and a better place for families to visit, by providing a fun covid-safe trail and competition. See more information about Sammy Swan and the town centre Egg Hunt on our social media channels. View more details by clicking here.

We can help promote your business

Be sure to stay up to date with the latest news and updates about the town and if you’re doing any special offers for customers, do LET US KNOW and we will help promote it via our social channels. See links below to follow and like us on social media.

Our team are doing everything we can to ensure an enjoyable and safe return to Kidderminster and we have many exciting projects planned for the future. You can read the BID Business Plan on our website and along with delivering the Plan, we are here to assist businesses, so if you are experiencing any problems, need support with Covid grants, have concerns about a vulnerable person in the town centre or just have an idea to share, drop us a line or speak to one of the team.

I’m sure most of you have seen the news going around on social media about the regeneration work on Worcester Street, it’s definitely been a talking point The project, which aims to connect Worcester Street with Bromsgrove Street in Kidderminster, has hit a delay due to unexpected drainage issues. The new estimated completion date is now the end of the year. ✅️ Once finished, the area will feature a new green community space and improved access to the Bromsgrove Street car park. It’s all part of the wider Kidderminster 2040 vision, backed by the government’s Future High Streets Fund. ♻️ Wyre Forest District Council Kidderminster Town Council #Kidderminster #Worcestershire #love #town #local #work #family #nature #vibes #news #summer
